Today we officially launch.
Re-Negotiate.Org hereby pledge to continue to be the responsible, reliable and informative commentary vehicle needed for the times in which we live.
Look around. Every day we are besieged with a morass of uninformed opinion and political spin directed, financed and skewered by the special agendas of interest groups and personalities who have proven to be disastrous and harmful to The Bahamas.
We make our case, in part, by exposing the offensive and despicable charade of the organization known as “Save the Bays” which is financed and controlled by Louis Bacon, an avowed racist with a family past and presence steeped in the filth of the KKK, racism, oppression and segregation.
How it is that Bahamians have been suckered into this cesspool is beyond us.
We pledge to continue to expose what Louis Moore Bacon and his cohorts are about.
Bahamians need to always be cognizant of the enemy in our midst.
Louis Moore Bacon has gone before a New York Court, in his selfish attack on another resident of The Bahamas, calling our Government corrupt just because their legitimate and lawful action was to yield a result in The Bahamas that he does not like.
How can any sincere and sensible Bahamian be comfortable knowing that Bacon and his forces have publicly described our country untruthfully with a clear intent to harm and destabilize.
Bacon and his minions are determined to use their bank book to wrest the Governance of The Bahamas away from the Bahamian people and put it in the hands of entity that they will control.
Further, there is a compelling and sustained attack on the system of governance under which we fall.
Public Figures have openly scoffed and acted ultra vires their oath of office and in so doing moved to undermine the very fabric of our constitutional democracy modeled after the Westminster system of governance.
This is precisely why in August 2015 Re-Negotiate.Org has called for the resignation of Opposition Leader, Dr. Hubert Minnis from the House of Assembly for failing to disclose that he had financial interests in a contract with The Government prior to being elected or even during his tenure as the Minister under whose auspices the contract was governed.
It is because of these and other such egregious and derelict acts, Re-Negotiate must launch.
We pledge to remain steadfast and strong in this vanguard of justice and fairness in public commentary.
We will do our part.
We humbly ask for your support and we encourage you to continue to do your part as Citizens of this country and ultimately in support of good governance by getting the fullest participation of all of our people.
