Word has it that the Free National Movement is about to announce several candidates to contest seats in the 2017 general elections.

The Candidates proposed by the FNM Leader Dr. Hubert Minnis had to be submitted to the FNM’s top financier for approval, Louis Bacon, who has reportedly communicated his approval back to FNM National Chairman, Michael Pintard.

Amongst the FNM hopefuls are the following persons:

  1. Sweet Emily, the celebrated Bahamian entertainer who abandoned secular music to go into Church Ministry.
  2. Kirtland Bodie, or KB, the lead music and entertainment talent used by Bacon’s “Save the Bays”.
  3. Romauld Ferreira, an Attorney long associated with Bacon’s “Save the Bays”.
  4. Michael Pintard, whose legal fees in a libel suit brought against him by Prime Minister Christie is being secured with the help of Fred Smith, Bacon’s top legal beaver in The Bahamas.
